Three Women By Lisa Taddeo

This is a long time coming but here it is.

When I saw Megan Prokott post about Three Women I knew I had to get it. Being where I live I didn’t find getting it very easy so when I finally saw a copy of it I immediately bought the book.

Honestly, I don’t know if I enjoyed it or not. I don’t know if it was because I knew these things happened to real women or what. I felt like it just isn’t for me. I also felt like there was no closure in the end. It ended so abruptly. With that said, I was very curious about how the stories of each woman would unfold. It was such an eye-opener.

I was very much invested in each story, especially Maggie’s and Lina’s. The book is centred on sex and desire but is in the point of view of pain and trauma.

I found Maggie’s story the most interesting out of the three. As I was reading her storyline I was so concerned. I had an inkling that Aaron was fishy from the very beginning and the things that he was doing to her was just questionable. I didn’t feel comfortable with him at all. He manipulated and used her. Don’t even get me started on Aaron’s wife. I felt so much for Maggie.

What are your thoughts on Three Women?
